Jeremy Nickel Cellars wines are made with the help of Atelier Melka, led by legendary winemakers Philippe Melka & Maayan Koschitzky, whose team oversees every critical decision in the winemaking process, including picking decisions, vinification and élevage, and the most critical practice: blending.
"I am very fortunate and blessed to have grown up in the wine industry in an old stone castle in Napa, built in the 1880s. The wine business is more than just a business for me, it's a continuation of my family's legacy and a chance to make my ancestors proud on a daily basis.

In wine as in life, trust is earned through time, integrity, and shared purpose. It’s a quiet philosophy that guides our work: to believe deeply in what we create, to honor the people and places that shape it, and to protect the values that define us.

Second-generation, Napa vintner Jeremy Nickel has roots that run deep in agriculture going back three generations, when his grandparents, Harold & Rebecca Nickel, opened a retail plant nursery in Muskogee, Oklahoma, in 1943. Jeremy’s father, Gil, grew the family business, Greenleaf Nurseries, into one of the largest wholesale nurseries in the United States.
Jeremy is extremely proud and honored by his family’s humble beginnings as a farming family. The label that adorns our bottles is Jeremy’s recreation of the Nickel family crest dating back to the 15th century and is a homage to the Nickels’ Viking ancestors.
Our hand-crafted wines are made in the Napa Valley and are dedicated to honoring our family legacy, heritage, and values.
